Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) is the first specialist degree-awarding institution in Asia, focusing exclusively on Early Childhood Education (ECE). It is built upon 90 years of the Yew Chung legacy. YCCECE’s first and foremost mission is to nurture a new generation of passionate and inspired ECE professionals. With the holistic development these student teachers receive from YCCECE, they can in turn influence our children positively and create a better society in the future.

Pamela Peck Discovery Space: where learning through “play” begins

As Hong Kong’s first specialist play space designed for children up to eight years old and their families, Pamela Peck Discovery Space (PPDS) is located at YCCECE and is an innovative and inspirational play space where children, parents and caregivers collectively enjoy a unique journey of exploration, discovery and imagination. PPDS is also
a platform to nurture a sense of social responsibility to build a loving, supportive and inclusive community for young children and their families. We count on the community’s support to sustain this bold vision.

Friends of Discovery Space: where you have the power to 'play' it forward

Friends of Discovery Space (FODS) is a community partnership programme which aims to promote access to quality learning experiences of young children and their families.

FODS consists of Corporate and Personal Partnership Programmes. As partners of FODS, individual or organization are supporting a better tomorrow for children. The partnership will ensure that PPDS will continue to be a key part of children’s development and is accessible to a wider community, particularly the needy.

FODS can also enable corporate partners to express the organisation’s commitment in doing social good and building a stronger sense of community amongst staff and customers.

YCCECE is on the List of Charitable Institutions and Trusts of a Public Character, which is exempt from tax under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. E-receipt for a donation of HK$100 or above will be issued for tax-deduction purpose.
