Officiated by Dr Joseph Lee, President of Wofoo Social Enterprises, Mrs Alice Wong, Chairman of the New Territories Women & Juveniles Welfare Association, and Professor Yuen, President of Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education, the Signing Ceremony of the Kindergarten Early English Project “KEEP” was successfully held at the College today (11 Oct).
The "Kindergarten Early English Project” aims to serve the participating kindergartens in developing their school-based curriculum in teaching English💪🏻. It is a two-year pilot project led by experienced ECE experts from YCCECE’s academic team with five kindergartens from the New Territories Women & Juveniles Welfare Association. It is hoped that the findings of this project will provide insights to other kindergartens in Hong Kong on teaching English as a second language and their curriculum development. The findings will also benefit the quality of Early Childhood Education in Hong Kong in the long run.
