    MOU Signing with Shenzhen Polytechnic University, Deepening Cooperation in Early Childhood Education

    • On 24 September 2024, Dr Frank Lam, Vice President (Administration) of YCCECE, led a delegation to visit Shenzhen Polytechnic University to engage in in-depth discussions on cooperation in the field of early childhood education. The delegation included Professor Shi Ping, Director of the Chor Hang Education Research Institute and Director of Mainland Development Department, Dr Vanessa Yeung, Deputy Director of Operations and Outreach, and Mr Han Hao, Deputy Director of the Mainland Development Department.

       

      The delegation was warmly received by Professor Liu Hongyan, Dean and Secretary of the School of Vocational and Technical Education at Shenzhen Polytechnic University, along with Associate Professor Gong Jiajia, Director, Associate Professor Hai Ying, Deputy Director, and Associate Professor Zou Jun. During the meeting, both schools engaged in lively discussions on topics such as curriculum development for early childhood education, teacher training, and practical teaching methods, with many innovative ideas for collaboration emerging from the exchanges.

       

      On the basis of shared recognition and consensus, YCCECE and Shenzhen Polytechnic University officially signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs). In the future, the two schools will work closely together on curriculum development, teacher training, and student internships, providing students with more diverse learning and growth opportunities, empowering them to become the future leaders in the field of early childhood education.

       

      By joining forces, both schools will fully leverage their resources and strengths, aiming to cultivate more early childhood education talents with international perspectives, professional skills, and innovative capabilities, contributing to the high-quality development of early childhood education in the Greater Bay Area.
