    • YCCECE Holds National Day Flag-Raising Ceremony to Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China

This morning at 10am, on the campus of Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education, the national flag was raised alongside the HKSAR flag, accompanied by a rendition of the national anthem. This moment displayed national pride and reminded everyone of the values of unity, resilience, and progress that have shaped China's journey over the past three-quarters of a century.

Through this celebration, YCCECE aimed to instil a deeper understanding of China's rich cultural heritage and the significance of its historical achievements, inspiring the next generation to contribute positively to the community and beyond.

Following this meaningful observance, faculty and non-academic staff took a commemorative photo with the flag-raising team. Today’s team members included:

      • Aasma Khan (DECEC student)
      • Alishba Bibi (DECEC student)
      • Manishka Pun (DECEC student)
      • Hibbah Umme (DECEC student)
      • Heidi Chan Hoi Tik (BEdECE Year 4 student)

College President Professor Allan Yuen emphasised the importance of fostering a sense of community and patriotism among students and staff. He said, “This ceremony strengthens the bond between the College and the community, and also encourages everyone to care about Hong Kong and our motherland.”
