On 21 January , 2025, the YCCECE community gathered for the Donor Appreciation event 2024/25, titled “Celebrating Generosity: A Tribute to Impact and Inspiration.” This event offered a valuable opportunity to connect with donors and supporters dedicated to nurturing the next generation of early childhood educators. 

A significant highlight of the day was the naming ceremonies for various college facilities, honoring the Rusy and Purviz Shroff Charitable Foundation, the Right Line Foundation, the Lee Hysan Foundation, and Mrs. Susanna Chan. This recognition celebrated their vital contributions, which have played a crucial role in advancing our mission. Additionally, the lecture hall was named the Bethel Fellowship Hall in recognition of the leadership and dedication of past and present members of the governing body of YCEF and YCCECE. 

The event was further enhanced by the unveiling of a new mural created by artist Ms. Haruka Ostley and YCCECE students. This mural reflects the spirit of collaboration and creativity within the YCCECE community, embodying unity and peace inspired by nature's landscapes and the light of divine love. Participants also took part in a fish pasting ceremony to enhance the mural, symbolizing abundance and prosperity. 

Following the unveiling of the newly named facilities and introduction of the mural wall, guests enjoyed a light luncheon where scholarship recipients shared heartfelt stories of how donor contributions have transformed their educational journeys. Their experiences highlighted the profound impact that generosity can have on students' lives. Attendees also toured the campus to explore upgraded facilities, including the specialized common room, research centre, library, and Pamela Peck Discovery Space. 

YCCECE extends its sincere gratitude to all participants for their ongoing support. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and the broader community. The dedication of our donors is essential to our mission, and we look forward to continuing this important work in the future.
