Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (“YCCECE”) welcomed officials from Education and Sports Bureau of Qingdao West Coast New Area on 24 April 2023. During the visit YCCECE and Sino-German Applied Technology School of the West Coast New Area signed on a Strategic Co-operation Frame Agreement, aiming to promote the development of schools of both sides through exchanges and cooperation, and promote the common development of schools in different regions, share educational resources, and jointly improve the quality of education.

YCCECE continues to build strong, enduring relationships with Mainland China governmental, business and academic institutions, generating opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing. The College has the pleasure of hosting a delegation of seven officials from Education and Sports Bureau of Qingdao West Coast New Area on 24 April 2023. The delegation had planned a 3-day visit to Hong Kong, during which they visited the Tin Wan campus of the College and exchanged views on teacher training, programme collaboration, and early childhood education curriculum.

The visit aims to promote cooperation and communication between the education sectors of the Hong Kong SAR and Qingdao. The delegation learnt about the College's development, both parties exchanged views and discussed opportunities for programme collaboration, teacher training, and the connection of early childhood education curriculum. Witnessed by the bureau, YCCECE and Sino-German Applied Technology School of the West Coast New Area signed a Strategic Co-operation Frame Agreement.
