    YCCECE Hosts CSPE Delegation to Showcase Excellence in Early Childhood Education

    • Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) welcomed a delegation from the Committee on Self-financing Post-secondary Education (CSPE) on 2 April 2025, reinforcing the College’s leadership in innovative early childhood education and its commitment to advancing self-financing higher education in Hong Kong.

       

      The visit provided an opportunity for YCCECE to highlight its distinctive programmes, which integrate theory, practice, and cutting-edge research to prepare future educators for the evolving needs of early childhood development. College leaders emphasized YCCECE’s student-centered pedagogy, strong industry collaborations, and dedication to nurturing highly skilled professionals in the field.

       

      During the discussions, YCCECE shared insights on curriculum enhancements, graduate employability, and the strategic role of self-financing institutions in diversifying Hong Kong’s higher education landscape. The College also underscored the importance of sustainable growth and policy support to further elevate the quality of self-financing education.

       

      The CSPE delegation commended YCCECE for its contributions to professional education and expressed keen interest in the College’s best practices. Both sides explored potential collaborations to strengthen sector-wide development and ensure that self-financing institutions continue to provide accessible, high-quality education.
