TVB features Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) graduate and student in a news report on their perspectives of the importance of Early childhood education development in Hong Kong.

YCCECE held the College's Congregation cum Honorary Fellowship Conferment on Sat 12 November 2022. Around 180 graduates were conferred Bachelor Degrees, Higher Diplomas and Diploma. During the ceremony, Ms Urooj Khan and Mr Manual Cheng of the Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Early Childhood Education programme were interviewed by TVB News reporter.

Urooj is a graduate of 2022. She is a non-Chinese speaking student born in Hong Kong. Our programme has enriched her experiences in teaching and caring for young children. She was immediately hired as an English teacher by an early childhood and children’s education centre after graduation. Manual is currently studying in Year 4, and he is one of the few male students enrolled in early childhood education programmes. During his practicum, he found that young children, parents and co-workers all welcomed male teachers. He has plans to teach in a kindergarten after graduation next year.
