Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education signed a Memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Guangzhou Zhongshan Whampoa International School on 29 November 2024 at the latter’s campus. This collaboration aims to encourage educational exchange and student development in the future.

Dr Frank Lam, Vice President (Administration) of YCCECE, and Dr Zhai Peiqi, Principal of Guangzhou Zhongshan Whampoa International School, represented their respective institutions in signing the cooperation agreement. The Ceremony was also attended by Mr Cheng chongming, Director of Yew Chung Education Group, Mr Lao Huanqiang, General Manager of Yew Chung Education Group's Greater Bay Area Operations, Ms Xie Haiyin, Admissions Manager of YCCECE, Mr Huang Haifeng, Chairman of Zhonghuang Education Group, Ms Li Xia, Director and Chief Financial Officer of Zhonghuang Education Group, Ms Yang Lixia, Vice Principal of Guangzhou Zhongshan Whampoa International School and special guest Dr Wu Chuntao, Director of the Talent Empowerment and Innovation Research Institute at Jinan University.

In addition to the formal signing ceremony, the event included interactive sessions between the delegation, students and staff. YCCECE gave an introduction to its courses and professional development opportunities. Dr Frank Lam and Dr Zhai Peiqi both delivered concluding remark.  Dr Frank Lam summarized the visit's achievements and looks forward to future collaboration. Dr Zhai emphasized the event's significance in strengthening cooperation between the two schools and promoting education for Hong Kong and Macau students.
